Technori Pitch, Chicago – Marketing Technology Innovation

I was invited last week by the organizers of Technori Pitch to give the keynote during this month’s pitch event that had the theme of “Marketing Technology” and of course I couldn’t say no and in fact felt grateful for the opportunity. Technori Pitch is a fascinating platform for start ups, a monthly showcase of innovative starters, showcasing what they have just launched. Designed to be a showcase of launching startups, Technori Pitch gathers 550 people together in Chicago, every single month, to watch as five startups launch on-stage. With a production quality that far exceeds comparable events, Pitch is designed to elevate the startup showcase to a level on-par with theater experience.

I call myself a failed entrepreneur with 2 unsuccessful attempts on my own and 1 bad investment however, like any other typical engineer at heart, I don’t ever give up. With the launch of Kimberly Clark’s Digital Innovation Lab in January this year at the CES, I have been really close to the start up community and a series of incubators and accelerators across the country and in other parts of the world like Telaviv, Israel. I have tremendous respect for anyone who is going after their beliefs and taking the bold step forward to create something that they believe is going to “change the world”. Can’t wait to meet the incredible thinkers, the growth hackers, the hard core engineers who are entrepreneurs at heart — a whole lot to learn for one evening. Here are some details from the official event site if you would like to join us:

Aug 26th, 2014 | 6 PM – 830 PM

**Technori Pitch is changing locations in August due to construction at the Chase Auditorium – On August 26th, Pitch will be held at Mesirow Financial**

Chicago’s monthly tech showcase, where geeks, veeps, and everyone in between meets.

Within the next three years, CMOs will outspend CIOs when it comes to IT. That’s hardly a surprise given the proliferation of the Marketing Technology landscape over the past few years.

From search, social and automation to personalization, intelligence and analytics, one could be forgiven for not keeping up with the breakneck pace of evolution in this space. Come see the best and brightest ‘MarTech’ startups coming out of Chicago on August 26th!
